Over 12 people were killed and 20 others injured in a collision between the mini-goods carrier and a bus in Chintamani.
Media report on Wednesday said that Chintamani is 74 kilometres from Bengaluru in India’s southern state of Karnataka.
The local police from Kencharlahalli, the accident took place at 12.45 p.m. local time and the injured have been admitted into a hospital in Chintamani and Kolar.
According to the police, a private bus rammed into the mini-goods carrier truck, killing all 12 persons in the carrier.
The police added that the mini goods carrier that was rammed by the bus was converted to a passenger vehicle.
