15 vessels expected at Delta ports – NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, on Friday said that 15 vessels laden with Dual Purpose Kerosene, DPK, and other items were expected to arrive Delta ports between June 19 and June 30.

NPA made this known in its daily publication, ‘Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Warri.

The ports authority said that some of the vessels were: MT Safe Sea Neha 111, MT Leon Herc, MT Tornado and Matrix Asa, among others.

“The vessels are expected to arrive Delta ports between June 19 and June 30,” the publication stated.

According to NPA, the ships are conveying Automotive Gas Oil, AGO, DPK, Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, frozen fish, butane gas and general cargoes.

The publication also said that the ports authority made declaration on three vessels on Friday.

“NPA made declaration on three vessels: MT SL Aremu, Matrix Pride and Sofie Theresa, all laden with fuel,” the document stated.

The ports authority said that three ships were waiting at Fairway Buoy to discharge products.

“MV Frio Nereus conveying 1,372 tonnes of frozen fish, is waiting at the Fairway Buoy to discharge product.

“Similarly, MT Ozichukwu and MT Igbinosa laden with 12,000 tonnes of crude oil each are awaiting at the Fairway Buoy to discharge contents,” it said.
