The governor of Jigawa State, Badaru Abubakar, has appointed Aminu Sule as the new Accountant General of the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Adamu Fanini, in Dutse on Wednesday.
Mr Sule, until the appointment, was the Director of Treasury Operations in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.
Mr Fanini said the appointment takes immediate effect.
