The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Committee on Peace and Reconciliation on Post Primary Election, covering southeast zone will commence meeting with stakeholders of the party in their respective states tomorrow (Thursday).
Recall that the APC national working committee had recently constituted the reconciliation committees to resolve the lingering crises that trailed the just concluded primary elections across the six geo-political zones in the country.
Mr Ganduje was appointed to head the committee for the reconciliation of the party members in states constituting the Southeast zone.
According to a statement personally signed by Mr Ganduje, the committee would tomorrow begin to meet with all the aggrieved members of the party, including all aspirants and candidates for the 2019 elections with a view to bringing peace and harmony in the party.
Giving the breakdown of the tour, Mr Ganduje said the committee would start with Owerri, Imo State on Thursday, November 29, Umuahia, Abia State on November 30 and Awka, Anambra State on December 1.
While, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State will be in December 2, and Enugu State on December 2.
He explained that, the venue for the interaction, except otherwise, shall be the party secretariat of the individual state, adding, however, that, “if there shall be any changes, all stakeholders in the affected states shall be duly notified.”
“The committee seeks the kindness of all party faithful to prepare their minds for the amicable settlement of all disputes and conflicts, with a view to reaching agreements that will ensure stability of the party and guaranty victory in 2019 general elections,” he said
