2019 Hajj: 4,456 pilgrims access Nigerian medical services in Saudi Arabia

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON’s Medical Team has attended to 4, 456 Pilgrims in 14 days after setting up clinics both in Makkah and Madinah for this year’s Hajj exercise.

The chairman of the NAHCON’s Medical team, Dr Ibrahim Khana, disclosed this to Hajj Reporters on Wednesday.

According to him, 10 clinics have so far been set up with 6 in Makkah and 4 in Madina.

So far, 35 pilgrims are currently on admission while 58 have been referred to Saudi Hospitals for further diagnosis and treatment.

Meanwhile, Mr Khana said the ICT Unit of NAHCON has provided GPS Coordinate to help pilgrims locate Nigerian Hajj Medical Centers in Makkah.

DAILY NIGERIAN recalls that according to the NAHCON’s Command and Control Centre, over20, 469 Nigerian intending pilgrims had been airlifted to the Holy Land for this year’s Hajj exercise.
