The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, on Thursday said three people died  at an Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camp in Konduga, Borno State.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of NEMA in the North-East, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, disclosed that the IDP camp is located at College Of Business Administration accommodates 6,213 IDPs.

Mr Ibrahim said the fire, which also left six persons injured, started at about 10:40 am from the cooking area.
