Four presiding officers of Gama Ward in Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State have allegedly absconded with the collated results of some polling units in the area.
There was widespread violence and intimidation across the state as thugs invaded most polling areas, intimidating and disenfranchising voters.
While the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP agents at the collation centre are calling for the cancellation of the results of the ward due to widespread violence, the All Progressives Congress, APC agents calling for declaration of zero voting so that there wont be election in the area again.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Riskuwa Shehu, is holding emergency meeting with top officials of the commission to sort of the quagmire.
