The Imo State Government is set to open up its budget details, BudgIT, a public finance advocacy firm, has said.
In a statement on Monday vis its Twitter handle, the firm said the move was coming after five years hiatus by the administration of former governor Rochas Okorocha.
According to BudgIT, Imo is joining 15 other states, who as at April 2019, had made their budgets available to the public.

The administration of Rochas Okorocha last published its budget in 2014, according to BudgIt.
