Nasiba, the embattled daughter of the Kaduna business mogul Sani Dauda, has released documentary evidence revealing how her marriage with Abubakar Musa was dissolved by a court of competent jurisdiction.
Mr Abubakar, who is believed to be a friend to the current Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had allegedly ordered the arrest of Nasiba’s father for marrying her off to another suitor.
Recall that on January 5, 2018 the Kaduna State Sharia Court sitting at Tudun Wada had dissolved Nasiba’s marriage with Abubakar through Khul’i.
Nasiba had returned N50,000 dowry to Mr Abubakar.
Dissatisfied with the Sharia court judgement, Mr Abubakar approached the Upper Sharia Court Kawo Kaduna for a leeway.

The court, in its ruling on February 28, 2018 quashed the earlier judgement by the Sharia Court which dissolved their marriage.
Going forward, Nasiba petitioned the Kaduna Grand Khadi on February 27, 2018 seeking a review of the judgement by the Sharia Court of Appeal.
Consequently, on March 3, 2018, the Grand Khadi quashed the judgement of the Upper Sharia Court, Kawo.
The Grand Khadi, therefore, ordered a transfer of the case to Upper Sharia Court I located at Daura Road, Kaduna.
Nasiba argued that since the judgement of the Upper Sharia Court, Kawo was quashed, the judgement of the Sharia Court, Tudun Wada, which dissolved her marriage now stands, pending the outcome of the Upper Sharia Court Daura Road.
