The Department of the State Security Services, SSS on Tuesday arraigned Kabiru Muhammad, the mastermind of a video alleging a marriage between President Muhammadu Buhari and his minister of humanitarian affairs, Sadiya Umar-Farouq.
Recall that the SSS had recently nabbed Mr Muhammad for allegedly producing a fake video depicting a wedding between Mr Buhari and Mrs Umar-Faruk.
Mr Muhammad was arraigned before a Magistrate Court 72, sitting at Noman’s land in Kano State.
On Tuesday, Mr Muhammad was docked before Magistrate Aminu Gambari on two-count charges of defamation and injurious falsehood, offenses contrary to section 392 and 393 of the Kano Penal Code.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that if Mr Muhammad is found guilty of the offense, he would be sentenced to a maximum of three years imprisonment without an option of fine.
