Shocker
An upcoming Nigerian musician, David Abhulimen, popularly known on stage as, ‘Shocker,’ recently collaborated with the famous Nigerian producer, rapper and songwriter, Skales, for his new song titled, Novice.
The U.S-based Edo State-native said his passion for music is as a result of his natural love for listening to quality music and the relationships he has had so far.
Shocker made previous attempts to get into music, but failed due to lack of resources. However, such setback never dampened his passion, rather it motivated him to work harder.
In 2008, Shocker moved to the U.S. for further studies. He attended Lee University, Cleveland, Tennessee and double majored in business administration and information technology. Returning to Nigeria in 2013, he navigated his way into the music industry.
Shocker’s Novice is rhythmical and danceable. He recently shot the video for the songs in Atlanta, Georgia. Though, the music audio was released in September 24, 2016 the video was digitally released on Hip TV on November 16. Shocker says Novice will soon be aired on MTV Base and Trace Naija for people’s viewing pleasure.
