The immediate past Commissioner for Special Duties in Kwara State, Aisha Pategi, has commiserated with the people of Gbaradogi town in Patigi Local Government Area over the recent flood disaster recorded in the community.
Mrs Pategi, in a statement on Tuesday, expressed concern about the damages to households and shops leading to the loss of many livelihoods.
According to her, it is alarming how the flood had damaged government infrastructure such as schools, hospital, electric poles and pipe-borne water installation amongst others.
The former commissioner, therefore, called on the state government and other relevant organisations to come to aid of the victims.
“I want to call on the Kwara State Government and relevant Federal Government Agencies to assist the residents of the community on necessary relief assistance,” she said.
