Abubakar Danburan has been posted to the Kaduna Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service as the new substantive area comptroller.
Mr Danburan reported on November 30 and fully assumed duty on December 7.
While addressing the officers and men of the command immediately after his assumption of duty, the new comptroller tasked them on effective discharge of duty towards increasing revenue generation and avoiding loss of revenue within the command.
He said trade facilitation is one of the key roles that will increase the revenue generation and assist the command to realize it’s revenue target.
Mr Danburan reaffirmed the essence of discipline to officers of the command in carrying out all statutory duties, promising to keep the flag flying within the state.
