Nigerians have been advised to return to God and change their ways of living in order to reposition the country for greater development.
Most Rev. Joseph Akinfenwa of the St. James Cathedral, Ibadan, gave the advice on Friday during a church service to mark the 2020 Christmas celebration.
Mr Akinfenwa said both leaders and followers in the country should brace up and start obeying simple rules and regulations by doing things that would end up in the best interest of Nigeria.
According to him, Nigerians should avoid acts of indiscipline and develop love for one another.
“We don’t know how to do things for the benefits of all Nigerians; as people result to ungodly acts like kidnapping, corruption, among others because they want to survive, and this should not be.
“We must research ourselves, confess our sins and come back to God in order to restore discipline and remove corruption in Nigeria for us to progress,” Mr Akinfenwa said.
He called on the nation’s leaders to think on how to restructure the country and evenly distribute its available resources if that would bring progress to the nation.
