The Bauchi State Government on Friday says the 2,500 housing units project has reached 98 percent completion stage and would soon be delivered.

Hamisu Shira, the Commissioner for Housing and Environment, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Bauchi.

Mr Shira said the project was designed to provide decent accommodation to address the housing deficit in the state, adding that the houses would be sold at affordable prices to individuals and groups.
