The Buhari Campaign Organization, BCO, Thursday, said the call by Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign was unwarranted and absurd.
The BCO National Coordinator, Danladi Pasali, in a statement in Jos also described Mr Abaribe’s assertion as mere political antics.
“The call for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari made by a PDP Senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe, is no more than a mirage sighted by a political clown,” he said.
“Mr. Abaribe’s called was to say the least absurd, unwarranted and political clowned.
“We view Mr. Abaribe’s comments as just political antics trying to make his weak voice resonate, after having shielded a wanted criminal and one of Nigeria’s most great enemy, Nnamdi Kanu, by aiding his abscondment from facing the law for a felony against the state,” he added.

According to Mr Pasali, if Mr Abaribe is sincerely concerned on improving the security of the country, he should uncover the great security traitor Nnamdi Kanu, if he isn’t his accomplice.
“We believed that the law must take its course by apprehending Mr. Abaribe until he satisfies the bond he signed in securing Kanu’s bail,” Mr Pasali said.
The BCO coordinator, however, stressed that President Buhari had been up-and-doing to ensure the security of the country.
“It is clear facts that President Buhari has since 2015 been doing his best, having sleepless times, on the issue of security and terrorism in the country.
“All that he needs is genuine concerns and sincere supports from all Nigerians to succeed,” Mr Pasali added.
