The Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS, has appointed Jimoh Ibinuhi, as its Controller in Plateau Correctional Centre.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that in November last year, the Center had come under gunmen attack, leading to the killing of 9 inmates and escaping of over 262 others.
Issuing a statement on Thursday, the spokesperson of the Centre, ASC Godfrey Longdiem, said Mr Ibinuhi is replacing Samuel Aguda who had been posted to Ibadan Zonal Headquarters of the Service.
According to the statement, Mr Ibinuhi was until his redeployment the controller in charge of Custody at NCoS National Headquarters, Abuja.
The PRO said that the new controller, who hails from Kabba Local Government Area of Kogi State, joined the Service in August, 1990.
Mr Longdiem said that the controller holds a Masters of Science in Public Administration from the University of Calabar.
