An Air Peace flight P47376 from Lagos to Kaduna has made a detour to Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos after developing a technical problem about 30 minutes after take off.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that the flight left Lagos airport some minutes to 11am on Sunday, but as the journey progressed, the pilot announced that he could not continue with the journey to Kaduna due to some technical issues.
One of the passengers in the flight who spoke on the condition of anonymity said after landing safely in Lagos, the passengers were asked to wait for the problem to be fixed.
“After waiting for over five hours, the airline announced that the problem could not be solved at that moment. So they now changed our booking to Kano,” said the passenger.
Spokesman for Air Peace, Stanley Olisa, did not respond to a text message seeking his response on the matter.
