Wife of the Nigerian president, Aisha Buhari has called on Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, compassion and unity.
She said in her Eid el-fitr message on Sunday that imbibing such attitude was the lesson of Ramadan.
“On this occasion of Eid el Fitr celebration, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, I felicitate with Nigerians and the Muslim Ummah over this opportunity to get closer to Allah, SWT.
“I also thank Nigerians for all their prayers for our dear country and the President, and call on all to imbibe the spirit of love, compassion and unity as basic lessons of Ramadan,” the message said.
The wife of the president, who took part in the Eid prayers at the Guards Brigade, Mambilla Barracks in Abuja, thanked Nigerians for all their prayers to President Muhammadu Buhari and the country.
