Aisha Buhari’s ordeals end as she apologises for video, gets new aides

The ordeals first Lady, Aisha Buhari, have allegedly been facing in the presidential villa may have come to an end, in view of the fact that new aides have been approved by president Muhammadu Buhari to be of her service.

The appointments are with immediate effect.

The appointments were announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by her Director of Information, Suleiman Haruna.

The appointees are Dr. Mairo Almakura, Special Assistant on African First Ladies Peace Mission; Muhammed Albishir, Special Assistant on Organisation of African First Ladies for Development; and Wole Aboderin, Special Assistant on Non-Governmental Organisations.

On the apology she gave over the video, the statement said: “Commenting on the videos circulating on social networks, [Aisha] Buhari extended her apology to her children, her immediate family members and all well-meaning Nigerians over the embarrassment that the videos had caused.”
