The Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has sacked the state’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kola Olawoye.
A statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye, on Monday said the governor had already appointed a human rights lawyer, Charles Titiloye, to occupy the position.
According to the statement, Mr Akeredolu who didn’t state reasons for the removal of Mr Olawoye, would soon forward Mr Titiloye’s name to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.
The governor expressed his appreciation to the sacked commissioner for services rendered to the state, while wishing him success in his future endeavours.
