The aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo on Thursday, dissolved its executive members and inaugurated a new one.The inaugurated executive members are Brown Odia, chairman, Amen Ogbemudia, secretary, Dora Erhabor, woman leader, Paul Omoike, legal adviser, Osaro Obazee, treasurer, Osbert Agho, publicity secretary and Stanley Aguebor, youth leader.
The dissolution was sequel to a protest against the appointments of members of the state into NDDC board.
The party alleged that the dissolved executive was loyal to Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie.
APC also accused the executive members of involving in anti-party activities in the locality.
The party leader, Mr Aiyamenkhue Edokpolo, said that the party had last week ratified the suspension of the Secretary to the State Government by ward 7 executives of the party for alleged anti-party activities.
He called on the law enforcement agencies to provide adequate security for the new executives to function without molestation or hindrance.
