Atiku formally flags-off 2019 campaign in Rivers

Former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar has formally flagged off his 2019 campaign consultations in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

Mr Atiku intends to run on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The event took place at the Rivers state government Banquet hall chaired by the Governor of the state, Nyesom Wike. In attendance were several political bigwigs like Okwesilieze Nwodo, Abdul Ningi, Mike Aondokoaa etc.

Mr Atiku restated his commitment towards the creation of a new Nigeria devoid of favouritism, segregation and ethnicity but one built on a foundation of industrialisation and economic revolution.

Speaking on the event, Mr Wike said; “Atiku has what it takes to be the President of Nigeria; the Presidency is for the man who has the track record. Atiku has the track record,” he said.
