The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has commiserated with the family of a Kano elder, Uba Leader, who passed away on August 20.
In a statement by Mr Atiku’s media aide AbdulRasheed Shehu, the former vice president described the deceased as a patriot and an accomplished businessman who stood out as a genuine leader of his people.
Mr Atiku stated that his death has left a big vacuum and prayed for Allah to console his immediate family, relatives and numerous associates across the country.
He asked them to be consoled by the good life the late Alhaji Uba Leader lived on earth and for the indelible legacies he left behind.
Mr Atiku prayed for Allah to forgive the sins of the deceased and grant his family the fortitude to bear his loss.
