Governor Mohammed Badaru of Jigawa state has felicitated with former governor of the state, Sule Lamido, on his 73rd birthday.

Mr Lamido’s service to the state and passion for development remain remarkable, said the governor in a congratulatory message signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Print Media, Ahmad Muhammad-Danyaro.

While eulogizing the virtues of Mr Lamido, the governor said the life of the PDP chieftain has been beneficial to mankind.

He noted that Mr Lamido is an elder statesman for years of service to his state and the country working as federal legislator, Minister of Foreign Affairs and two-term elected governor of the state.

Mr Badaru said Mr Lamido’s experience will always be relevant for the next generation, praying that the Almighty God will continue to bless him with longer life and good health.
