Bagudu approves N140m loan to Kebbi civil servants to buy cars, motorcycles, furniture

Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi has approved N140 million as car, motorcycle and furniture loan to civil servants in the state.

The approval is contained in a statement issued on Friday in Birnin Kebbi by the Commissioner for Finance, Ibrahim Muhammad-Augie.

Mr Muhammad-Augie said the interest-free loan was to be disbursed to eligible civil servants in respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs, to be repaid within five years.

“The gesture by the governor is part of his sustained efforts to boost the morale of civil servants towards improving their performance.

“Civil servants are therefore expected to reciprocate this kind gesture by the governor by being dedicated to their duties,” the commissioner said.
