Bauchi Rep distributes N20m seed grants, commuter vehicles, motorcycles to constituents

The lawmaker representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Mansur Manu-Soro, has empowered several of his constituents with seed grants to start up various business ventures in the state.

Disclosing the distribution on Saturday via his verified Twitter handle, the lawmaker said the beneficiaries got the sum of N200,000 to N500,000 each, depending on their business proposals.

According to him, the presentation was part of the 3rd phase of his empowerment initiative started in 2019, explaining that the current phase of the project gulped about N20million.

“We also gifted commuter vehicles and motorcycles to deserving constituents and admonished them to adhere strictly to provisions of traffic rules in the land.

“This very gesture is aimed at easing difficulty in movement of goods and people within the constituency and beyond.

“Beneficiaries of capital grants have undertaken to go into livestock trading among other Agro based ventures,” the lawmaker disclosed.
