The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole has reacted to the Supreme Court judgement sacking David Lyon as the governor-elect of Bayelsa State.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Mr Oshiomhole said neither Mr Lyon nor the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Douye Diri would be sworn-in on Friday.

According to the chairman, the Supreme Court did not declare Mr Diri as the winner of the election.

“The next candidate who happens to be a PDP candidate does not have one-quarter of the votes cast in that election.”
