Organizers of Ladies in Sport (LIS) Conference have announced that international sports journalist and founder of GirlsinSports UK, Benny Bonsu will lead a cast of top names in the football and corporate world to the 2017 edition of the Ladies in Sports conference.
According to a statement by LIS, joining Bonsu at the conference are Senior Brand Manager, Star Lager Beer, Ita Bassey; General Manager, Supersport West Africa, Felix Awogu; and Super Falcons’ defender, Onome Ebi.
The 2017 edition of the Ladies in Sports conference comes up on June 9 at the Sheraton Hotel Ikeja. The theme, “Developing the Women’s Game,” is centred around women’s football, both at club and national level.
Itb is open to all club administrators, academies, football managers, football administrators, corporate bodies and the media, the statement said, adding the conference seeks to improve and promote women in sports and women’s sport through lectures, grants and networking.
