Blackout looms in parts of Abuja as TCN carries out maintenance in Katampe substation

Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, will be embarking on preventive maintenance on its 60-Mega Volt Amperes, MVA, 132/33 Kilo Volt at Katampe 11 substation, Abuja.

According to a statement by the management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, on Friday, the maintenance will take place between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Saturday.

“AEDC wishes to inform its esteemed customers that the outage will interrupt power supply to Gwarimpa, Life Camp and Jabi areas of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

“While regretting the inconvenience, please be assured that it is intended to ensure better service delivery,’’ it said.
