First Lady Aisha Buhari is currently at the Heathrow Airport, London waiting to board a British Airways flight back to Nigeria.
Mrs Buhari announced her plan to return to Nigeria on her Twitter handle.
Mrs Buhari left Nigeria in the early August for London, from where she proceeded to Saudi Arabia after a brief stay.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that after the completion of the Hajj, she returned back to London where she is now convalescing after medical check-up.
Speculations are rife that there is estrangement between the president and his wife over alleged plan by the president to marry the minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Farouk but checks showed there is no substance in the speculation.
DAILY NIGERIAN however learnt that the absence of the first lady may not be unconnected to the reappointment of some key officials she had previously accused of caging the president.
