President Muhammadu Buhari is meeting with the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, and some state governors in Abuja.
The meeting, which is ongoing behind closed doors at the Presidential Villa, is also attended by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The purpose of the meeting is unclear yet.
The APC governors at the meeting included Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Aminu Masari of Katsina, Abdul aziz Yari of Zamfara and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun.
News Agency of Nigeria reports that Ekiti Governor-elect, Kayode Fayemi, also attended the meeting which lasted for about 45 minutes.
When asked the purpose and outcome of the meeting, Mr Saraki and the governors declined comments.
