The Presidency says President Muhammadu Buhari “has just left London for Nigeria” after a technical stopover in the British capital.
Speaking to DAILY NIGERIAN on phone, spokesman for the president Garba Shehu said there was no cause for alarm over the stopover.
“There is no cause for alarm over this stopover. The president used a small aircraft that requires a stopover during long range journey.
“It is just a routine stopover for safety checks during long journeys. Nothing strange in it.
“The president just left London for Nigeria after the aircraft underwent the routine check,” he added.
