The National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Friday recorded 245 new cases of COVID-19 with Lagos and Jigawa states recording the highest number of infections in the country.

Disclosing the new infections via its Twitter handle, the NCDC said Lagos recorded131 cases while Jigawa came second with only 16 cases.

the total infections are now 7261 in the country.
