A member representing Sumaila/Takai Federal Constituency, Garba Durbunde, has been kidnapped.
DAILY NIGERIAN reliably gathered that the lawmaker left Abuja for Kano around 5pm on Tuesday but was stopped by the kidnappers around Abuja-Jere axis.
Sources said he was alone in the car.
Two of his colleagues who spoke to DAILY NIGERIAN on the condition anonymity confirmed the abduction, saying they were trying to manage the situation.
