The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, have suspended their ongoing strike iver a new minimum wage and the hike in electricity tariff.

The TUC president, Festus Osifo, disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja after a joint extraordinary national executive council meeting of the unions.

According to him,  the suspension is for one week and a communique will be issued shortly.
