Residents in their hundreds fled their homes Friday night following an attack by Boko Haram terrorists in Jere Local Government Area of Borno.

According to SaharaReporters, the attack occurred at about 7:50pm in Balle Shuwari Village, about eight kilometres away from Giwa Barracks in Maiduguri.

It could not be confirmed if any death occurred during the attack, as officials are yet to make official statements about it.
