Buhari greets Saudi Monarch on 91st National Day

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Saudi Monarch and the Custodian of two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud on the occasion of the Saudi Arabian National Day on Sept. 23.

The Nigerian leader in a congratulatory message by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, also felicitated the Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, on a remarkable day.

President Buhari maintained that he ”deeply values the special relationship between our two countries which is based on cooperation and longstanding mutual support to each other.”

According to him, Nigeria remains firmly committed to the deepening of this special bilateral relation between the two nations, and is optimistic that this will continue to grow from strength to strength under the keen efforts of both leaders.

The President expressed strong hope that “the robust ties between the two nations will be further cemented in the years ahead to cover the existing and new areas of common interests.”
