President Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding a closed-door meeting with a former Vice President Namadi Sambo.
Presidency sources said Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is also part of the meeting, holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Mr Sambo, a former governor of Kaduna State, was the Vice President during Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure as President between 2011 and 2015.

However, when approached by newsmen immediately after the meeting, Mr Sambo refused to disclose reason for his visit to Mr Buhari, saying that his meeting was private.
This is coming in contrast with the wide speculation the meeting might have sparked, one of which is the likely defection of the former Vice President to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
