President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday intervened in the dispute between the Police Service Commission and the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu over the recruitment of 10,000 additional personnel.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after meeting with the President, the Chairman of the PSC, Musiliu Smith, confirmed that the matter was tabled before Mr Buhari, adding that it would soon be resolved.
