President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Dr. Dikko Umaru-Radda for another term as the Director General /Chief Executive Officer of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN.
A statement on Friday from the Corporate Affairs Unit of SMEDAN said the appointment was contained in a letter dated 12th March 2021 signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
The letter conveyed the reappointment of Dr.Dikko Radda as the Director General of SMEDAN and wished him success in all his endeavors.
Reacting to his reappointment via his verified twitter handle, the Director General of SMEDAN, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for giving him another opportunity to serve his fatherland.
Mr Radda also thanked the President for the confidence and trust reposed in him, which he said, has indeed served as a pillar to the unprecedented success recorded in the agency in his first term in office.
He said: “All praise and gratitude be to Almighty Allah, today my tenure as the Director General of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has been extended for another five years.
“I am glad to have another opportunity to serve my fatherland. I want to extend my gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for the confidence and trust he has on me which served as pillar to unprecedented success we recorded at SMEDAN in the last five years.
“I am humbled and overwhelmed by the esteemed support from my family, friends and well-wishers as well as my fellow citizens. Thank you and God bless you all.”
