Mr Bogoro was Executive Secretary of TETfund between 2014 and 2016 before he was sacked by Mr Buhari following fraud allegation running into N200 billion which was released to the agency for special intervention projects to beneficiary institutions.

Similarly, Mr Baffa, who was an aide to Mr Adamu, was appointed the head of TETFund alongside 14 other heads of parastatals in the education ministry on August 2, 2016.

According to an insider, the former TETFund executive secretary had become deeply immersed in Kano politics as well as political activities ahead of forthcoming elections in the state.

The source added that Mr Baffa was at many times heard opposing Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s re-election bid.
