President Muhammadu Buhari has technically through his weight of support behind the embattled chairman of the All progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole as he approved the postponement of the party’s National Executive Council, NEC, meeting.
Recall that meeting was scheduled to hold on Tuesday by some aggrieved members of the party who want Mr Oshiomhole removed.
However, the President moved against the decision by postponing the meeting to a later day.
The Chairman of APC Governors Forum and governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, disclosed the postponement while briefing State House correspondents shortly after leading APC governors to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
