A former Chief of Army Staff during the Second Republic, General Mohammed Wushishi, is dead.
Family sources said he at a London Hospital.
Born in 1940 in Wushishi, Niger State, Mr Wushishi served as the Chief of Army Staff between October 1981 and October 1983.
He he was onetime General Officer Commanding, GOC 4 Infantry Division, Nigerian Army in 1976 and Commandant, Staff College, Jaji in 1979.
