President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for the reinforcement of the family unit as a place where sacred values of honesty, modesty, hard work and charity are passed down to children in Nigeria.

The President made the call in a statement signed by his Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale,on the occasion of the May 27th Children’s Day.

The Nigerian Leader affirmed that society is a reflection of each family unit as a collective, urging the preservation of those principles that make the country a wholesome, nurturing, and thriving nation.

Celebrating children in Nigeria, President Tinubu said his administration will spare no effort in ensuring that Nigeria’s children have a solid footing for the realization of their dreams.

The President rejoices with parents, guardians, and families across the nation, assuring that with increased investments in education, and the recent overhauling of the entire education system to provide both human and material resources for learning, his administration will continue to expand access to qualitative education for all Nigerians.

President Tinubu also assured that with the efforts of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education, to return the street children to schools, his government will continue to prioritize the Nigerian child.

The President reassured the nation of his commitment to ensuring a safe and secure ambience of learning for the children while improving the standard of education.
