On the occasion of Christmas celebrations, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has rejoiced with the Christian faithful across the state and the country as a whole.
The governor’s goodwill message was contained in a statement on Wednesday signed by the state Commissioner for Information, Home Affairs and Culture, Abdullahi Bego.

While praying for a peaceful and memorable celebration, the governor noted that “Christmas is a time of worship and coming together of family and of stock-taking and looking to the future with hope and determination”.
Mr Buni, therefore, urged Christians to use the occasion to pray more for peace, security and the progress of the state and the country during, “this pivotal moment in the life of the nation when all hands must remain on deck to move the country forward”.
