The long standing feud between two brothers and Anambra state political heavyweights, Chief Chris Uba and his younger brother Dr. Andy Uba takes another dimension as the younger Uba floors his elder brother at the Supreme Court.

Andy Uba was sued by his brother, Chris, who lost out in the battle for the Anambra south senatorial seat. The two have been involved in long standing political battle.

The Supreme Court has this afternoon nullified the election of two Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senators from Anambra State and members of the House of Representatives elected under the party.

Those sacked by the apex court on Friday are the controversial minister of aviation under President Goodluck Jonathan, Princess Stella Oduah and onetime presidential aide, Mr. Andy Uba.

Two duo represented Anambra north and Anambra south senatorial constituencies, respectively.

With the Supreme Court’s judgment, all the three PDP senators elected to represent the state in the 8th assembly, have lost their seats.

The Cour of Appeal had, on December 7, quashed the election of Senator Uche Ekwunife, representing Anambra central.

Uba, a two-time senator, was special adviser on domestic affairs to former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Oduah’s tenure as the minister of aviation was brought to an unceremonious end following a corruption scandal relating to Mrs Oduah’s extra budgetary purchase of two bullet-proof BMW cars.
