A Federal High Court in Kano state on Wednesday arraigned Nuriani Adamu, son of former governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Adamu, alongside one Felix Onyago over alleged N32 million money laundering.

The counsel to the prosecution, Douglas Gift, told the court presided over by Justide Daggard that the defendants allegedly conspired to commit the offence in 2014.

Mr Gift said that in the same year, Mr Adamu allegedly transferred N32 million on several occasions to Mr Onyago’s bank account in Kano. He said that the offence violated Section 18(a) and 15, 2 (b) of money laundering prohibition act.
