Speaking after the court sitting, Mr Falana expressed disappointment over the development, saying that the application was unnecessarily dragging the prosecution and delaying court processes.

According to him, the condition of the IMN leader and his wife is getting worse by the day and there is the need for urgent intervention.

“Unfortunately, the Kaduna State Director of Public Prosecution; Dari Bayero applied to respond to our affidavit which we filed this morning as a response to his own that was filed on Wednesday.

“The matter has been adjourned to 29th July, 2019 to have the application argued but I did inform the court that the condition of the IMN leader and his wife is getting worse by the day and there is the need for urgent intervention,” he disclosed.
