In furtherance of the Register-to-Open initiative, the Lagos State Safety Commission has opened a register for religious and social centres, in preparation for their full reopening.
Recall that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had directed that all social and religious centres must register before they are granted approval to reopen after a long period of lockdown over COVID-19 pandemic.
To this end, LSSC Director-General, Lanre Mojola, in a statement on Thursday, disclosed that the register has been opened and owners of these centres in the state could log on to lasgsafetyreg.com for registration.
The statement reads: “Further to the directive of Mr Governor with respect to the Register-to-Open initiative of Lagos State government, we hereby confirm that all religious and social centers (social clubs, event centres, restaurants, bars, night clubs, spas, cinemas and gyms) within the state can commence the registration process on the designated portal www.lasgsafetyreg.com immediately.”
